Dr. Bernadette | Chiropractor
Dr. Bernadette was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She grew up with a deep passion for helping others and understanding the connection between the body and mind. After earning her Master’s in Social Work, she was drawn to a more hands-on approach to healing and pursued her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University, graduating in 2024.
During her training, Dr. Bernadette developed a strong focus on neurological and family-centered care. She is Webster Certified and has completed Level 2 certification through Focus Academy in Functional Neurology. In practice, she is passionate about helping families, from expecting mothers to children, by supporting their nervous system so they can thrive physically, emotionally, and developmentally. “My goal is to create a space where care feels personalized, empowering, and truly transformative. I want my patients to feel heard.”
In her free time, Dr. Bernadette enjoys staying active through yoga, hiking, and training. She also loves exploring new restaurants and creating meaningful experiences with her daughter.
Dr. Grace Petro | Chiropractor
Dr. Grace grew up in South Bend, Indiana. After experiencing first hand the healing benefits of chiropractic care, she knew she wanted to help others do the same. Dr. Grace received a B.S. in Health Kinesiology and minor in Psychology from Purdue University. She graduated Life University in 2020 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. During her studies, Dr. Grace participated in mission trips to Peru and Brazil, providing chiropractic care to less fortunate communities. “In practice, I am determined to help as many people possible live longer, healthier, pain free lifestyles. I am thrilled to begin serving the patients of Midtown Family Wellness!”.
In Dr. Grace’s free time, she loves to explore everything Atlanta has to offer- new restaurants, parks, art museums. Keeping an active lifestyle is very important- Dr. Grace loves Pilates and hiking and enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dachshund puppy, Wally.
Kate Shane | Office Manager
Kate was born and raised in the Atlanta area. After college, she lived in Colorado for five years during which she grew to love hiking, camping, skiing, and all mountain/outdoor activities. She worked for Aveda for 13 years and loves all opportunities to care for this planet. She is the proud cat mother to a black cat named Ziggy and in her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring the cuisines and traditions of different cultures. She was a patient at Midtown Family Wellness 10 years ago and is so excited to be back!
Keturah Fry | Back Office Manager
Keturah grew up in Pennsylvania, as one of 10 kids with parents who raised their family from a gigantic garden, barefoot from sun up to sun down and as close to the earth as possible. Chiropractic care was a part of Keturah’s health journey as a child and now after having 2 children of her own she continues that legacy for her own family.
Keturah first came to Midtown Family Wellness in 2016 with her 2 children, Simon and Julian. Julian’s story is one of the many beautiful examples of what the healing touch of a knowing Doctor can do. Julian was born at just 26 weeks gestation. At 15 months old, he came to Dr Danielle for the first time with many hurtles including feeding issues, torticollis and very low muscle tone. Within the first week of seeing Dr D, he began walking! Within a month and a half, he went from eating no solids at all to eating everything! His head has rounded out and torticollis corrected! Julian is absolutely thriving and in Keturah’s own words, “Chiropractic care changed everything for us, and now I get to watch others experience the same things every day!”
Keturah lives in West Midtown and enjoys adventures with her kids, coffee with her husband, traveling, learning and experiencing the world and finding the best in people.

Ela Pares | Massage Therapist
Ela holds a degree in Biology and a license in Massage Therapy. With over 7 years of hands-on experience in myofascial treatments, she initially set out to become a holistic doctor. However, she found her calling in a path that naturally unfolded for her. Ela received unconventional training through an apprenticeship with an Osteopathic Physician and a master in Chinese Acupuncture. She also collaborated with a Chiropractor, where she specialized in an advanced myofascial treatment known as the Advanced Muscle Integration Technique. This technique revitalizes injured, inactive muscles to optimal functionality using acupressure and deep myofascial massage. Ela believes that most acquired musculoskeletal issues have a root cause that can be addressed through balanced treatment. Her approach to massage therapy is unique, as she tailors her methods to the specific needs of each body. She skillfully integrates techniques from neuromuscular massage, somatic awareness, assisted stretching, shiatsu, and myofascial meridians into her practice.
